NOAH

The truth is... I was simply looking for a new certification to pad my resume when I came across the SAHA 200-hr online program.

I almost didn't sign up because I already had several years of direct experience as a functional movement coach and personal trainer with extensive professional certifications.

I was already familiar with Yoga through my personal practice. On top of that, I am extremely well-versed in anatomy through my professional practice thereof.

So I wondered... "am I really going to learn anything new?"

I decided to sign up anyway because the cost was the most appropriate for me at the time AND it was basically the only online option I had found (this was about two months into the COVID pandemic)

What I got out of the experience was totally unexpected.

The SAHA program isn't just about learning your asana's - in fact, that is just a small part. What the SAHA program did for me was introduce me to many spiritual concepts in new and exciting depth and recontextualized "Yoga" in my journey as a spiritual seeker.

This, in my opinion, was the true treasure of the program and well worth the expense. As the saying goes, when the student is ready, the master will appear... I was the student. SAHA and the collective wisdom included in the course was master.

On a practical note, the SAHA team was very easy to communicate with and I really loved the flexibility to work at my own pace. The cost was especially appealing at almost 1/2 the cost of the next most expensive program.

Especially if you care to deepen your own spiritual practice instead of just learning movement and poses, I strongly suggest you give SAHA and it's teachers a look. The online format is comparable, if not better in some regards, than live training. and I speak with the authority of someone who has attended dozens of in-person certifications/training courses for my professional career.

thanks SAHA!
